Fashions for Passions
The Fashion Gala featuring fashions by Thien Le is an annual event supporting anti-violence and anti-trafficking of girls and women.
The chairs and volunteers are dedicated and passionate citizens, devoting their time to working to end modern day slavery. Proceeds from all events are donated to various reputable organizations with the same mission through the VWAT Family Services.
Thien Le’s work has several influences and most notable for having a strong influence from what Le calls “The Elegant Period” of the 1930s, 40’s and 50’s. The long gowns full of colours and movement remain his firm signature, tailoring different elements together with details that reaffirm his trademark. The Canadian designer’s flawless workmanship carries through all of his lines: from luxurious cashmere weekend wear to versatile pieces for golfing to red-carpet couture. With TV personality Mike Chalut as the Master of Ceremony and delectable courses, it’s sure to be an evening of great company and purpose.
Join us at the Hyatt Regency at 370 King Street West on August 11, 2013 for the much anticipated release of Thien Le’s new collection in support of girls and women everywhere.
