Giới thiệu về Tết Trung Thu
Ngày hội Tết Trung Thu được đón mừng trên khắp các nước Á Đông. Tết Trung Thu nằm gần ngày thu phân, và là một trong những ngày hội lớn nhất sau ngày Tết. Theo tục lệ xưa, mọi người trong gia đình quây quần bên nhau để chung vui sau dịp thu hoạch cuối hè, ăn bánh Trung Thu, trẻ em rước đèn, ngắm trăng. Ngày này còn là một ngày vui cho trẻ em để chơi với nhau đến tối. Hội Tết Trung Thu do chúng tôi tổ chức sẽ có các màn trình diễn truyền thống, sinh hoạt cho trẻ em, và sẽ kết thúc với lễ rước đèn và múa lân.About the Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or the Lantern Festival, is celebrated annually throughout East Asia. Tet Trung Thu, as it is known in Vietnam, is the second-most important holiday (Lunar New Year being the most important) and occurs around the September equinox. Traditionally, families gather round to celebrate the end of the summer harvest by eating moon cakes, lighting lanterns, and gazing at the moon and stars. The Festival is also a wonderful occasion for children to stay up late and play outside at night amongst family and friends.Đố Vui Để Học
Hội Văn Hóa Khoa Học Việt Nam – Phân Hội Toronto sẽ tổ chức trò chơi Đố Vui Để Học nhằm khuyết khích các em học hỏi thêm về tiếng Việt, văn hoá, nhân danh, địa lý và lịch sử. Trò chơi sẽ được bắt đầu từ lúc 1 giờ chiều đến 6 giờ chiều tại Harbourfront Centre vào Thứ 7, ngày 17 tháng 9, 2011. Các em từ 5 tuổi đến 18 tuổi có thể tham dự miễn phí và sẽ có thưởng nếu trả lời đúng. Những câu hỏi và câu trả lời ở dưới. Xin quý vị hãy tãi xuống và khuyết khích các em học trước ngày tham dự. The Vietnamese Culture and Science Association (VCSA) - Toronto Chapter will host the Wheel of Knowledge game aimed at encouraging children to learn more about Vietnamese language, culture, famous historic figures, geography and history. The game will start at 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Harbourfront Centre on Saturday, September 17, 2011. Children from age 5 to 18 can play for free and will be rewarded if they are the fastest contestant to answer correctly. The questions and answers are posted below.
