\nguiding young minds. Now the heart and soul of VWAT\u2019s Seniors Program, her
\nexceptional patience, empathy, adaptability, and resourcefulness shine in her
\ncoordination of meaningful activities, aiming to enhance the well-being of as
\nmany seniors as possible.
\nissue of income instability among seniors, Thu consistently seeks ways to
\nalleviate their financial burdens. This includes assisting with applications
\nfor subsidized housing, Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada
\nPension Plan, Ontario Electricity Support Program credits, and tax credits. She
\nis a warm-hearted presence profoundly valued by the seniors she supports.
\nactivities, Thu also serves as the initial point of contact for visitors to
\nVWAT. Managing intake, she gathers information about clients\u2019 needs to ensure
\nthey receive appropriate assistance. Additionally, she aids job seekers by
\nscheduling appointments with employers and providing guidance on navigating the
\nCanadian labour market.
