La soledad en particular ha cambiado la forma en que socializamos a lo largo del d\u00eda y algunos expertos dicen que las personas pueden continuar luchando despu\u00e9s de la pandemia.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la Asociaci\u00f3n Canadiense de Salud Mental (CMHA), mucho antes de la pandemia, la soledad se consideraba un problema de salud p\u00fablica creciente, incluso etiquetado como una epidemia.<\/p>\n<p>El Dr. Shimi Kang, psiquiatra de Vancouver, siempre les dice a las personas que el aislamiento social es una forma de tortura humana. Predeciblemente conduce a la ansiedad, la depresi\u00f3n y eventualmente incluso a la psicosis y pensamientos suicidas. Afortunadamente, el cerebro humano es resistente. Si hacemos esas cosas que todos hemos escuchado un mill\u00f3n de veces: rutina de autocuidado, dormir regularmente, hacer ejercicio, pasar tiempo al aire libre en la naturaleza&#8230; todas esas cosas son antidepresivos naturales, estimuladores cerebrales y pueden ayudarnos durante esta pandemia y m\u00e1s all\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la CMHA, algunas formas de lidiar con la soledad incluyen evitar compararse con los dem\u00e1s; darse tiempo a uno mismo, especialmente cuando se enfrentan grandes cambios en la vida o transiciones; encontrar formas de aprovechar el tiempo a solas, como dedicarse a un nuevo pasatiempo; y trabajar en las propias conexiones sociales. Si bien ayudar a los dem\u00e1s puede ser dif\u00edcil durante la pandemia, a\u00fan hay muchas formas en las que las personas pueden ayudar a los dem\u00e1s, como comunicarse con las personas a trav\u00e9s de Zoom o una llamada telef\u00f3nica.
