They have assisted me in many different matters such as income tax preparation, inviting me to the newcomers’ workshops, PR & Citizenship applications. One of the things that impressed me the most is that they opened their doors to me and patiently gave their best service over the years even though I’m neither a Vietnamese nor a woman. Clients living in subsidized housing are now required to submit their most recent Notice of Assessment, regardless of their income, in order to keep their RGI subsidy. Thuy and the VWAT Centre has helped many of my clients to file their taxes. Thuy is fast, approachable, and easy to work with. She will accommodate clients that are unable to travel to the centre by either filing taxes over the phone or completing them by email. Her flexibility has helped many clients of mine with maintaining their RGI subsidy. The knowledge and expertise Thuy has about the CRA and filing taxes is invaluable. Thuy has made my job so much easier, and I am very thankful for her work at the VWAT Centre. <\/p>\n My name is June Tenzin a newcomer to Canada, I am very fortunate to receive the services at the VWAT at the most difficult moment of my life. Especially to honoured Thuy Nguen, the Program Coordinator, she is a true heart of the VWAT. I am personally grateful to her from the bottom of my heart. Her professionalism, tremendous care, intelligence and knowledge are highly appreciated. She is helped me in every possible way, as well she kindly shared with me her feelings of how to overcome difficulties. I was able to see my troubles from a positive approach and deal with the situation without much anxiety. She helped me with the Government requirements without her high intelligence and perseverance, I would be not able to understand all errors that had been made during the entire process.
