A solid\u00e3o, em particular, mudou a forma como nos socializamos ao longo do dia, e alguns especialistas dizem que as pessoas podem continuar enfrentando dificuldades no p\u00f3s-pandemia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; border-width: 0px; border-style: initial; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 15px; line-height: inherit; font-family: 'Open Sans', -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline; color: #333333; text-align: justify;\">De acordo com a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Canadense de Sa\u00fade Mental (ACSM), muito antes da pandemia, a solid\u00e3o j\u00e1 era considerada um crescente problema de sa\u00fade p\u00fablica, sendo at\u00e9 mesmo rotulada como uma<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca Shields, CEO do cap\u00edtulo da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o na regi\u00e3o de York e South Simcoe, afirma que a solid\u00e3o epis\u00f3dica \u00e9 algo que todos experimentam. No entanto, quando se trata de solid\u00e3o cr\u00f4nica, Shields diz que ela \u00e9 cumulativa e pode ter um efeito dram\u00e1tico nas pessoas. Algumas pesquisas revelaram que a solid\u00e3o cr\u00f4nica tem os mesmos impactos f\u00edsicos no corpo de algu\u00e9m que fumar 15 cigarros por dia. Shimi Kang, psiquiatra de Vancouver, sempre diz que o isolamento social \u00e9 uma forma de tortura humana. Isso previsivelmente leva \u00e0 ansiedade, depress\u00e3o e eventualmente at\u00e9 mesmo \u00e0 psicose e pensamentos suicidas. Felizmente, o c\u00e9rebro humano \u00e9 resiliente. Embora ajudar os outros possa ser dif\u00edcil durante a pandemia, ainda existem muitas maneiras de ajudar as pessoas, como entrar em contato com as pessoas via Zoom ou uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o telef\u00f4nica.
